Privacy Policy

Who we are

Cornerstone Baptist Church (“we,” “us”) operates a public church website and a mobile app that displays that same website (a Trusted Web Activity / WebView wrapper). Contact: Pastor Rick Thompson · (816) 738-6279 · 427 N. Cedar, Nevada, MO 64772.

What this app and site are

The Android app loads our public HTTPS website. It does not create user accounts, and it is not a social network or marketplace.

Information we collect

Information you choose to share

If you call, email, or otherwise contact the church using phone numbers or email addresses shown on the site, that communication is handled the same way as contacting us outside the app.

Automatically collected technical information

Like most websites, our hosting and CDN providers (currently including infrastructure in front of grok.me such as Cloudflare) may process standard technical data such as IP address, device/browser type, approximate location derived from IP, and request logs, to operate, secure, and troubleshoot the service. We do not use the app to run a separate analytics or advertising SDK of our own.

Information we do not collect through the app

We do not ask you to create a password-protected account in this app. We do not sell personal information. We do not use the app to collect precise GPS location, contacts, photos, or microphone/camera data for our own features (the WebView may offer a system file picker only if a page requests a file; our public site does not require uploads for normal browsing).

How we use information

• To operate and secure the website and app
• To respond when you contact us
• To comply with law when required

Sharing

We do not sell personal information. Service providers that host or deliver the website (for example CDN/hosting) may process technical data as needed to provide those services. Google Play may receive information according to Google’s policies when you install or use the app from Play.

Children

The site and app share general church information suitable for families. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children for accounts or profiles through this app.

Data retention

Technical logs retained by hosting/CDN providers follow those providers’ practices. Messages you send us by email or phone are retained as needed for ministry and administration.

Your choices

You can browse without creating an account. You can uninstall the app at any time. For browser/cookie controls, use your device or browser settings.

Changes

We may update this policy. The effective date above will change when we do. Continued use of the site or app after an update means you accept the revised policy.
